Samsung Galaxy S24 With Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Now Available for Pre-Order on Flipkart

Samsung has brought back its Galaxy S24 in a surprising new avatar for Indian customers. Unlike the original version that shipped with the Exynos 2400 processor in India, the refreshed model now runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 “for Galaxy” chipset. The device is now available for pre-order on Flipkart ahead of the Big Billion Days sale.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Price in India

Flipkart is listing two storage variants of the Snapdragon-powered Galaxy S24:

  • 8GB RAM + 128GB storage – ₹75,000
  • 8GB RAM + 256GB storage – ₹80,000

Interestingly, the ₹80,000 price tag matches the original launch price of the Exynos-powered 8/256GB variant.

How It Compares With the Galaxy S25

While this move may excite Snapdragon fans, the pricing raises some questions. Flipkart is also offering the Galaxy S25 (12GB RAM + 256GB storage) for the same ₹75,000. The Galaxy S25 features the more powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite “for Galaxy” chip, plus 4GB of additional RAM, making it a more compelling option for most buyers.

Availability and Software

The Exynos version of the Galaxy S24 has been pulled from Flipkart, though it remains listed on Samsung India’s official website. However, the Snapdragon variant does not appear on Samsung’s site yet.

The new Galaxy S24 ships with Android 15 out of the box, compared to Android 14 on the original release. The model number has also changed to SM-S921E (the Exynos version was SM-S921B).

What About the S24+ and S24 Ultra?

Samsung has not re-released the Galaxy S24+ with Snapdragon for India. The Galaxy S24 Ultra, on the other hand, always shipped with Snapdragon globally, so it remains unchanged.

📌 Bottom line: If you specifically want the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 inside the Galaxy S24, Flipkart has it. But considering the Galaxy S25 with Snapdragon 8 Elite is priced the same, buyers may find better value in opting for the newer model.
