Nokia Magic Max 5G Launched: 16GB RAM, 6.7-inch AMOLED Display & 120W Fast Charging

Nokia is reportedly preparing to enter the mid-range flagship segment in India with its upcoming Magic Max 5G smartphone. While official details are scarce, leaks and rumors have provided an early look at what could be one of Nokia’s most advanced devices in 2025.

Design and Display

The Magic Max is expected to feature a premium glass-and-aluminium body, measuring around 162 mm × 75 mm × 8 mm and weighing approximately 180–200 g. Durability is emphasized with Gorilla Glass Victus protection on both sides and an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. Color options could include Magic Black, Arctic Blue, Mystic Grey, and Gold with fingerprint-resistant matte finishes.

A 6.7-inch AMOLED display is rumored, offering Full HD+ resolution and a 120 Hz or 144 Hz refresh rate, along with HDR10+ support and peak brightness up to 2000 nits. An under-display fingerprint sensor and a punch-hole front camera provide a modern, uninterrupted viewing experience.

Performance and Software

Two chipset options may be offered: Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for premium performance or Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 for a more budget-friendly variant. The phone is expected to feature up to 16 GB RAM and 128–512 GB UFS 4.0 storage. Android 14 is likely at launch, with a path to Android 15, alongside Nokia’s near-stock Android experience.

Camera

The rear setup may include a 50 MP main sensor with OIS, a 13 MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2 MP macro/depth sensor. The front camera could range from 32 MP to 64 MP. AI portrait, Night Mode, Pro Mode, and slow-motion video are expected software enhancements.

Battery and Connectivity

The Magic Max could pack a 5,000–6,500 mAh battery with 120 W fast charging, capable of fully charging the device in around 20 minutes. Connectivity features include 5G, Wi‑Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, GPS, and a USB-C port. Dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and even a 3.5 mm headphone jack may be included.

Pricing and Availability

Expected prices range from ₹24,999 to ₹49,999, depending on the configuration. Sales would likely go through Nokia’s e-store, Amazon, and Flipkart, with standard launch offers like no-cost EMIs and exchange deals.

The Nokia Magic Max 5G could be an exciting option for users seeking a high-performance, stylish, and fast-charging mid-range flagship.
