After Apple’s iPhone 17 launch, Oppo has officially teased its upcoming flagship series — the Oppo Find X9 and Find X9 Pro. Company executive Zhou Yibao revealed key specifications, including battery details, design highlights, and software features, giving fans a first look at what’s coming this October.
Huge Battery with Slim Design
The Oppo Find X9 Pro will house a massive 7,500mAh battery, while the standard Find X9 will pack a 7,025mAh unit. Despite such large batteries, the Pro will remain just 8.25mm thick and weigh around 224g, while the vanilla X9 will be slimmer at 7.99mm and lighter at 203g. The Pro will feature a 6.78-inch display, slightly larger than the X9’s 6.69-inch panel.
Flat Displays with Ultra-Thin Bezels
Both models will sport flat AMOLED displays with Oppo’s thinnest bezels yet, rumored to be only 1.1mm on all sides. The screens will feature advanced eye protection technology and even a unique anti-motion sickness mode, designed for extended comfort.
Camera Innovations
The Oppo Find X9 will come with a triple 50MP camera setup, while the Find X9 Pro raises the bar with a powerful 200MP periscope telephoto lens, making it a serious contender for mobile photography enthusiasts.
ColorOS 16 with Apple Device Support
Running on ColorOS 16, both devices will include native support for Apple accessories, demonstrated by pairing AirPods 4 with a Find X9. This cross-ecosystem compatibility makes the new series more versatile.
Performance and Extra Features
Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, both phones will support 80W fast charging and feature an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for improved security. A new “Plus Key” smart button is also expected to bring customizable shortcuts.
Expected Launch
The Oppo Find X9 series is expected to debut in October 2025, with the official design and pricing details to be revealed at launch.
