Tecno has officially introduced two new smartphones – Tecno Spark Slim and Tecno Pova Slim – both making headlines for their incredibly slim bodies and lightweight designs. These models come very close to the earlier Tecno Spark Slim concept device showcased earlier this year.
Ultra-Slim and Lightweight Build
The Tecno Spark Slim measures just 5.93mm thin and weighs only 156 grams, making it one of the slimmest mid-range smartphones to date. The Tecno Pova Slim is almost identical at 5.95mm and carries the same weight. To achieve this, Tecno redesigned several components, including a 0.45mm USB Type-C connector, compact battery design, and a slim vapor chamber cooling system measuring just 0.3mm.
Both phones use aerospace-grade fiberglass for the back panel, which is only 0.36mm thick, giving them strength while keeping the design lightweight.
Display and Performance
Both models come with curved AMOLED displays featuring a 144Hz refresh rate and 4,500 nits peak brightness, promising smooth visuals and excellent outdoor visibility. Under the hood, the Spark Slim runs on the Helio G200 chipset, while the 5G-ready Pova Slim is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6400.
Camera and Battery
In terms of optics, both devices feature a 50MP primary camera, while the Spark Slim includes an additional Mood Light LED bar that offers multi-scene lighting effects and custom animations for notifications.
Despite their slim build, both phones pack a 5,160mAh battery with 45W fast charging and 10W reverse wired charging.
Software and Features
The duo runs on HiOS based on Android 15 and comes with Tecno’s AI suite. Other highlights include IP64 water and dust resistance, making them durable in everyday use.
Availability
Tecno is expected to announce the pricing and availability of both Spark Slim and Pova Slim later this week.
